UHiFi Audio Lab

Great audio gear deserves more than subjective impressions. The UHiFi Audio Lab is our in-house measurement and analysis facility, where we apply scientific methodology to the products we carry and review.

What We Measure

• Frequency Response — How a transducer reproduces sound across the audible spectrum
• THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) — A measure of driver cleanliness and accuracy
• Impedance & Sensitivity — How easy a headphone or IEM is to drive
• Channel Matching — Left/right consistency in production units
• DAC & Amp Measurements — SNR, dynamic range, output impedance, and more

Our Equipment

We use industry-standard measurement rigs including IEC-711 couplers for IEMs and standardized headphone fixtures for over-ear measurements. All measurements are taken under controlled conditions and published without alteration.

Why It Matters

Measurements don't tell the whole story — but they're an essential part of it. We combine objective data with critical listening to give you the most complete picture of any product's performance.
